As many of you know, I opened my own private cardiology practice in 2023 and we have grown to provide a breadth of cardiology services for the greater Reno Tahoe community. We have two full time MDs and two PA’s to provide cardiovascular medicine as well as EKGs, echo, stress treadmills and cardiac PET all onsite at the clinic and associated Sierra Cardiac Imaging Center.

For those patients who are looking to establish with the clinic, I am board certified in both Cardiovascular Medicine and Cardiac Electrophysiology and have practiced these specialties in northern Nevada for the past 25 years. I have expertise in pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, lead management and device follow up. I also specialize in catheter ablation of various cardiac arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation and Watchman procedures. My wife, Dr Sridevi Challapalli is board certified in both Cardiovascular Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. She treats patients with various cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, and hypertension.
